Pranav Dhanawade, the boy who shocked everybody when he scored 1009 runs back in January is in deep trouble at the moment.
This young cricket sensation came into limelight when he scored 1009 runs in just 327 balls while playing for KC Gandhi Higher secondary school back in January. Social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter went crazy at that time.
He became a wonder boy by making the highest individual score ever. He also got many offers after his inning from various reputed companies like Air India.
Family Background
He comes from a very poor family where his father Prashant Dhanawade is an Auto Rickshaw driver. In spite of being famous and holding the world record of highest individual score, he was arrested along with his poor parents.
Previous Controversy
There was a clash between Him and Arjun Tendulkar for the selection in Mumbai U-16 team. The controversy Caught fire when Arjun was selected ahead of him.
Pranav’s protest and arrest
Mumbai police converted the playground in which Pranav does his cricket practice into Helipad ahead of BJP’s minister Prakash Javdekar’s Mumbai visit. Police forcefully removed all the players from the ground.
When Pranav and his friends protested against this, they were brutally beaten up by police. Pranav’s parents who came in the support of his son were also arrested. This incident is very disappointing and shows true colors of Mumbai Police.
