Bill Gates is popularly known as the founder of Microsoft but he is also a Secret Santa who sent gifts to lucky recipients and makes their Christmas special. Gates has been participating in Reddit’s gift exchange program for the past four years now and this time, the lucky recipient was a girl named Aerrix.
On Friday, a “GIANT” box got delivered to her and when she opened the box, she was “Flabbergasted” and when she saw her gifts, she told,
“My eyes got wide and my jaw dropped and then I screamed out loud, to no one, because I was alone (well my dog and cat were there, cat ran and hid, dog ran around jumping).”
When she saw the photo of Microsoft guru wearing Santa hat, she just went crazy and called her hubby and told him, “BILL GATES IS MY FREAKIN SANTA!!!!!!!”
Aerrix was overjoyed while opening her gifts as they were sent keeping in mind what she loved, the gifts included Zelda-themed mittens for Aerrix and her dog, Harry Potter slippers, Xbox One, Minecraft Edition, legend of Zelda master sword, of course Paper made.
There was a note also glued on the box of Xbox which read, “I love my XBOX and thought you might like one too.”
Well, there were other gifts too, such as Nintendo entertainment system classic edition, a Cajun cookbook, some DVDs and more items in Zelda-theme.
Not only this, Bill Gates also made a donation in the name of Aerrix towards code.org in order to “to give more students the chance to learn computer science.”
However, the most touching moment for Aerrix was when she read the note sent by the Microsoft guru! The note read:
“I can’t believe your Secret Santa left you hanging last year. To ensure you don’t lose faith in the Reddit Community I’ve enclosed several gifts that I hope you enjoy. There are a few video games for you to play, some things to keep you warm, and three of my favorite movies to watch over the holidays.
I’ve also made a donation in your name to Code.org to help give more students the chance to learn computer science.
With Best Wishes from Seattle, Bill Gates.”
Well, that was not all, there was also a photoshopped image featuring Aerrix, her husband and Bill Gates wearing Santa hats and the dog was also not given a miss.
