The series of videos that were uploaded by soldiers of various Indian security forces regarding the problems faced by them compelled the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat to give a strict warning to anyone who now uploads any video should be ready to face dire consequences.
But just hours after his warning, a new video has gone viral in which a Sikh soldier can be seen singing about the problems and tough life that they live.
The soldier sings in the video, “It has been 10 months now, I am not getting days off; all the tears have fallen from her eyes. One who is married to us, she feels neither married nor unmarried.” The soldier can be seen singing while standing with his mates and it seems as if they are around a make-shift canteen.
As per The Hindu, the soldier sadly sings that they eat roti with pickle while others are having tasty meals in hotels.

He further sings that the soldiers are on guard all the time, even during the festivities while politicians sleep peacefully in their homes at night.

However, the video has been shot during a private performance or get-together and it has not been specifically made to complain. The date of shooting and the location still remain unclear.

The lyrics are like this:
“Politicians are not concerned about the jawans of military
They wish good night and sleep
Soldiers celebrate their Diwali on the borders
While people in Delhi and Mumbai are engrossed in sleep,
We move towards trenches
We are not concerned with salad and fried foods,
We are satisfied with whatever is cooked in our community kitchen,
You have dinner at Taj and we have pickle on roti
When we broad-chest soldiers stand on guard, no one can think of crossing the border
An AK 47 is like a paternal blessing on our shoulder
It has been ten months that
I have not got an off
All the tears have flown from her eyes
The one who is married to us,
she feels neither married nor unmarried.”
Sounds pathetic and heart-wrenching, doesn’t it?
