Now let us clear the matter for you as to how two batsmen left the field when only one was out. Matt Renshaw got retired hurt (ill) on the same delivery on which David Warner lost his wicket. It is said that Matt Renshaw, who scored 36 runs (one sixer and four boundaries) of 89 deliveries, was not feeling well and that is why, he also left the field with David Warner. However, Renshaw came back to bat again on the fall of the 3rd wicket in the 60th over.

India is in full control of the 1st test match. 205/8 in 82 overs and only 8 overs are remaining in a day. Let’s see if India is able to wrap up Australian batting line up on the 1st day itself!

However, Renshaw received criticism for leaving the field mid-way. Here’s what Damien Martyn and Ed Cowan tweeted:

I'm still getting my head around this… JL would of lost a limb and still batted on #oldschool #cricket #AUSvIND https://t.co/1IVu2aUC9N

Still don't know why he didn't leave his bat and gloves there and just go to the toilet a la KP did at the SCG?? Game stops for 3 mins… https://t.co/x5DZhl4TFP
