Life is a precious gift of God, but some people fail to realize its importance, just like this 24 year old boy, who had everything but was in no mood to live. Arjun Bharadwaj, an engineering student from Narseemonji college (Mumbai), committed suicide by jumping from Taj Land End’s (Bandra) 19th floor.

Few moments before jumping, Arjun went live on Facebook and talked about certain things one must do before committing suicide; social media users were shocked to see such a bizarre video.

No one expected that after this 1:43 minute long video, Arjun would be no more. He jumped from the window at around 6.20 pm, leaving behind a suicide note in which he had written that he was depressed. Basically, Arjun was from Bengaluru and had come to Mumbai for his engineering studies.

He checked into the hotel at around 3 am and completed all the formalities. After shooting a video, he broke the glass windows of his room and jumped off (This wasn’t recorded).

He had even posted a picture of the view from his room and captioned it, “View to die for”!

Senior Inspector Pandit Thackeray said that in his suicide note, Arjun said sorry to his parents and wrote, “Miss you friends”. Arjun’s family came from Bengaluru to collect his body.

Even after repeated attempts, Arjun couldn’t pass his 3rd year engineering exams, and might be this was the reason he was stressed; currently, investigation is going on and officials are trying to find out the exact cause of his depression.

He shouldn’t have taken such a drastic step, don’t you feel so? For youngsters, life has become a game and they don’t value it at all. Isn’t this wrong?
