For King Khan, everything is possible; he is not only good in acting but is also smart in various other things. We all know that SRK has a company named “Red Chillies”; the name is bit weird and we all have a curiosity to know how and why he named it, isn’t it?
Well, there’s a funny story attached to it and I am sure, you’ll have fun listening to it.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, SRK finally revealed the reason behind this and hearing the answer, you’ll get a good idea of his humor.
King Khan says that he has always been in love with cooking and wishes to open a restaurant. In the interview, he says,
“I know it sounds very girlish (Smiles). But then, I’m all for empowerment of women. I want to be equal to women. I want to go higher up to their level, instead of thinking that they have to go higher. But I genuinely want to cook. Imagine, if I open a chain of restaurants and stores, kitna business karunga main.”
Moreover, he also went ahead to say that once, Juhi chawla had asked him why he named his production house as “Red Chillies”. On this, the actor gave a very funny reply and said, “Just in case film-making fails, I’ll open a restaurant by the same name. Red Chillies Restaurant toh chalega hi.”
How witty! SRK is rightly termed as “King Khan”, because he has answers to almost all the questions. If this production house doesn’t work well, he definitely has a good alternative now, haha.
Good to know that Shah Rukh Khan loves cooking; hope he opens a restaurant soon so that we get to enjoy his culinary skills too. Obviously, the reason that he gave was not the real one, but it definitely made us laugh hard.
