In March, an attack was launched on the Westminster Bridge, leaving many people injured. A police officer had lost his life in this attack. In protest of this, a demonstration was held by EDL i.e. English Defence League (Far-right group) in Birmingham.
On Saturday, members of far-right anti-Islam group marched to the Library of Birmingham for opposing Britain’s Islamification.
However, the EDL demo became all the more famous because of this “Unique” stare by a young woman. Yes, a photo has gone viral, in which a young woman (Resident of Birmingham) is seen smiling at the EDL activist (Who appears to be very angry). She was here to defend her friend in hijab who was surrounded by 25 EDL men. Check out her pic;

And one more…

These photos have driven people crazy and have been shared thousands of times.
She’s “Saffiyah Khan” and ever since her photos are circulated online, people are calling her a “Hero” and an “Inspiration”.
Saffiyah was quoted as saying,
“I ended up going to the EDL demo because there is a history of harassment and assault of Muslims, vulnerable members of the public, and people of colour at the demos and outside of it.”
She boldly handled the EDL activist and was applauded for the same on Twitter. Here’s how Twitter users reacted;

Didn’t this picture give you goosebumps? Instead of getting scared, Saffiyah handled the situation so coolly. Hats off to her! What do you have to say about this? Share your views in our comments section below.
