The tension between the USA and North Korea is all time high since Donald Trump has become the President of America and the present situation is indicating towards a war in the near future. Even the Chinese are very apprehensive on this matter, as their Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated, on Friday, that ‘conflict could break out at any moment’. He has also given a strong warning to both the sides that ‘there could be no winner’, if a war takes place. This is what Wang Yi said,
“The United States and South Korea and North Korea are engaging in tit for tat, with swords drawn and bows bent, and there have been storm clouds gathering. If they let war break out on the peninsula, they must shoulder that historical culpability and pay the corresponding price for this.”
As of now, America’s aircraft carrier group is sailing towards North Korea. North Korea’s second most powerful official Choe Ryong-hae also made it clear,
“We’re prepared to respond to an all-out war with an all-out war. We are ready to hit back with nuclear attacks of our own style against any nuclear attacks.”
President Trump has openly shown his resentment towards the nuclear and missile programmes that are being carried on by North Korea and has asked China to stop its neighbor. However, he seems to be quite upset with China’s attitude towards the matter and has made it clear that if China does nothing to stop North Korea, America will deal with it on its own.
President Trump made few tweets too, but they were of no help:

Recently, during the Sun Parade, North Korea displayed new intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) and it appeared as if they could be launched from submarine too. It gives an impression that Pyongyang is working on developing missiles that can attack the USA too.
As per Pyongyang’s official Korean Central News Agency, a spokesperson of the general staff of North’s People’s Army stated,
“Nothing will be more foolish if the United States thinks it can deal with us the way it treated Iraq and Libya, miserable victims of its aggression, and Syria, which did not respond immediately even after it was attacked.”
Japan has already started making plans on the evacuation of 57,000 Japanese nationals from South Korea in the event of war breaking out between the USA and North Korea while another neighbor of North Korea has also urged both the nations to exercise restraint.
We do hope that every measure is taken to prevent the war, as it will be the last thing that humanity needs.
