There have not been many days when a weird and bizarre hashtag #BreakTheBeard trended on Twitter. Few Indian cricketers including Jadeja, Pandya and Rohit Sharma gave their fans a big shock when they uploaded short videos in which they could be seen shaving their beards off. The videos were posted on Instagram and Twitter and they did this for breaking the trend of the ‘bearded men’.
However, fans of Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli were dying to see his response on this trend in view of the fact that his beard is no less than a fashion statement.
Just to inform, his beard is crazily followed by a number of fans who can’t wait to know whether Kohli will shave his beard or not.
Finally, the Indian skipper responded by uploading a pic of his side pose on Instagram with caption, “Sorry boys @hardikpandya_official @royalnavghan @rohitsharma45 but iam not ready to break the beard yet. Great job on the makeovers though. Kudos”
Well, many of his followers must have been disheartened, as they were desperately waiting for his new look; nevertheless, they would have to wait a little more until Kohli himself wishes to “Break The Beard”.
