It’s not been long when Deepika Padukone’s “My Choice” video made in collaboration with Homi knocked YouTube; however, it soon collected more criticism than appreciation from everyone. Definitely TV and film stars admired it; nevertheless there are some who have not liked the idea and do not seem to be agreed with it.
Undeniably, her much talked about short film depicts women empowerment but yes, it has many such factors that have classified it in the category of criticism and disapproval. Even Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha comments on the video, saying “empowerment is not always about sex!”

She made this statement during a car launch in Mumbai. Although Sonakshi has not seen Deepika’s “My Choice” so far, she said, “I know the thought behind it which is Women Empowerment”. She praised it outwardly, yet spoke against it too in a hidden tone.
