Famous Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has been surrounded by loads of controversies after he made some offensive and sexist remarks on Shehla Rashid, the JNU student activist and other females.
After the tweets crossed all limits, Twitter took a firm action and suspended his official handle. This decision received mixed reviews from people; after this, Sonu Nigam quit Twitter with 24 hard-hitting tweets.

Everyone was waiting for Abhijeet to react and finally he did; speaking with IANS on Whatsapp, the singer said,
“Twitter is a platform for anti-nationals, anti-Indian Army, anti-Modi, anti-Hindu and for terrorist supporters. I would say all are Naxals, they should be punished severely. It’s jihadi Twitter.”
Speaking further, he said,
“We are not only singers… We are the voice of our nation and come out openly against anti-nationals. So, Twitter is trying to shut our voice.”
Talking about Sonu Nigam’s action, Abhijeet said that he is the only person who has guts to raise the issue.
Meanwhile, there are people who are totally liking the suspension of his account!
