World is full of strange people and some of those don’t even have the etiquette of behaving in public. Consequently, they end up doing such activities in public places which should be carried out only in the closed doors.
A passenger who was travelling in the Hyderabad-Delhi IndiGo flight was taken into custody by cops when the plane landed in Delhi as he was caught m@sturbating in the flight. On Saturday at around 10 am, a woman passenger from Hyderabad made a complaint to the cabin crew that her co-passenger was m@sturbating.
Here’s what a senior police officer told,
“In her complaint, the woman said she saw the man unzipping his trousers. Then he started m@sturbating. When the woman brought the matter to a crew member’s knowledge, she was allotted another seat. Upon landing, the crew members called up the security, who then handed over the man to the Delhi Police.”
As per the source from the airlines, the man was then asked to get himself cleaned in the lavatory and later, he was under the strict vigilance of the staff. He has been booked under sections 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 354A (sexual harassment) of IPC. The officer further added, “He has been arrested and is being questioned.”
However, this is not the first time that such an incident has come to light. Earlier in Oct 2012, a lady from Michigan was allegedly groped by a man whom she saw m@sturbating on a flight in UK. In 2009 also, a passenger was caught m@sturbating on Delhi-Vadodara flight by an air-hostess.
It seems people have lost the fundamental knowledge of how a person should behave in public.
