Yes, you read it right! According to cops, a head constable named Bijendra Singh is accused of raping his married daughter and thrashing his son-in-law.
The terrible incident took place on Yamuna Expressway close to Mant outpost. The accused has been detained as well as suspended.
As per the victim’s complaint, it was on 26th June that she was raped by Singh at night. PTI reported that Singh’s retirement was due on 30th June. On Monday, the victim moved to Agra from a Ferozabad village to get a doctor’s appointment. In the evening, she moved to police outpost for having a tryst with Singh as he was on duty there. As per the woman’s FIR, he advised her to stay there only and subsequently, raped her.
Singh has four children, whereas the victim has two kids. When the woman’s husband reached the location from Chandigarh in a hurry, Singh allegedly thrashed him too!
According to Deputy SP, the accused was taken into custody when his son-in-law lodged a complaint to SSP Vinod Kumar Mishra.
This incident has ashamed humanity and blemished the image of all the fathers in the world! #Shame
