We all are well aware of Modi’s Swachh Bharat campaign; but the main question is, “In what way are we contributing towards it?” India can definitely become the cleanest country in the world, but for that, we all need to contribute a bit, in whatever way we can, right?
Often, when we travel by public transport, we see how people are least bothered about cleanliness. They litter everything around and even if they find any wrappers or papers on the floor, they turn a blind eye towards it. Isn’t it our duty to pick it up and throw it in the garbage bin?
But not all people are same! Some are very responsible and they know that they have to do small things to make “Swachh Bharat” a reality. One among them is this boy, who surprised everyone with his action in Delhi metro.
This guy Pranjal Dubey is silently working towards making India clean. What happened was that he was travelling in a metro and was busy hearing songs in his headphones. While removing his water bottle from the bag, his tiffin fell on the floor and the food got spilled.
Others thought that no one would bother to clean the metro throughout the day, but Pranjal surprised everyone. He tore a page from his notebook and started cleaning that spilled food. He collected all that food in the paper and kept it in his bag.
Now this is called true inspiration; there’s no need of spending crores on “Cleanliness” seminars. Such small deeds can help a lot. A person named Shubham Verma clicked pictures of him and shared the same on a Facebook page. Have a look…

“आज दिल्ली मेट्रो में सफर करते हुए पहली बार किस्मत से मुझे सीट मिल गयी और मैं बैठकर आसपास के लोगों को देखने लगा । कुछ जवान लोग जो कब बूढ़े हो गए उन्हें पता ही नही चला और कुछ प्रेमी युगल बहुत करीब खड़े होकर देश की अदभुत समस्याओं पर चर्चा करते हुये वहां मौजूद थे ।
एक लड़का था जिसने ear phone लगाया हुआ था और गाना सुनते सुनते अपने बैग से पानी की बोतल निकाल रहा था । तभी उसका बैग ज्यादा खुल गया तथा उसका टिफ़िन नीचे गिर कर पूरी मेट्रो में फैल गया । उसने टिफिन उठा कर बैग में रख लिया और चारो तरफ उसका खाना फैला हुआ था । मैंने सोचा अब यह मेट्रो दिन भर ऐसी ही रहेगी…
मगर अचानक उस लड़के ने बैग में टिफिन रखा और कॉपी से एक पेज फाड़कर सफाई करने लगा । उसने अपने रुमाल से पूरा खाना साफ किया और उठाया तथा पेपर में रखकर बैग में रख लिया ।
तब तक मेरा स्टॉप आ गया , मैंने उस लड़के को शुक्रिया किया देश की ट्रेन का ख्याल रखने के लिए तथा उसका हौसला बढ़ाया के उसने जो काम किया वो सच मे देश की सेवा है और उसके जैसे लोगों की देश को बहुत जरूरत है ।
उसने लड़के का नाम प्रांजल दुबे था । मैंने कुछ फोटो खींच लिए उसके जिसमे उसने ट्रैन में सफाई की थी ।
आप सबके साथ शेयर कर रहा हूँ । ताकि देश के लिए काम कर रहे गुमनाम युवाओं का हौसला बढ़ा सकूँ ।
