Today, if we switch on our television sets in hope to get entertained by watching serials, we may get tortured by a Naagin who takes the form of a lady or a snake as per her convenience or some other woman who gets transformed into a fly or watch her fighting with devil to save her family, etc.
Now there is one more serial titled “Pehredaar Piya Ki” which has defied the logic of sensibility, as it’s showing a 10-yr old boy romancing a 19-yr old lady.
Two episodes of the show have been telecasted already and there is no reason to believe that this serial is promoting something which is totally unacceptable in the present times. We are talking about the concept of child marriage which is now banned in the country and even if serials were made on this concept, they talked about its ill-effects.
However, this show is not only promoting it but also showing a 10-yr boy stalking and flirting with a 19-yr woman, which is neither sane nor good for the mindset of kids of similar age. After all, children learn a lot from what they watch! Agree?
10 yrs is not an age when boys should chase a woman and that too the one who is elder to them. Boys of this age should be shown studying, playing outdoor games or being indulged in creative things.
However, the makers of “Pehredaar Piya Ki” are saying that the serial is not about child marriage and no judgment should be made so early but going by the two episodes, audience feels that it has already crossed limits and the broadcasting ministry should take some action about it.
Till now, the serial has got 8,50000 views and it is quite understandable that people want to watch it as they are bored of the same Saas-Bahu drama and now they want something new. If you like to watch the first episode, then click here to watch it on YouTube.
