Mubarakan couldn’t live up to the expectations on the first day. It witnessed a slow start and even trade experts were surprised to see the opening figures. Since it stars Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, good response i.e. at least 10 crores was predicted, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen.
However, collections seem to be a bit bigger on Saturday. After collecting 5 crores on the 1st day, “Mubarakan” has witnessed some growth on Saturday.

The movie showed a 40 percent growth and collected 7.38 crores. Now, the total stands at 12.63 crores and it’s not that bad. Trade experts feel that the collections will further escalate on Sunday. Let’s see what happens.

The story of Mubarakan seems interesting as Arjun Kapoor plays double role i.e. Karan and Charan. Even Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty have done complete justice to their roles. The plot revolves around a typical Punjabi family searching brides for Karan and Charan. Overall, the movie is average.
Even if the film manages to earn 20 crores on the opening weekend, it’s good enough. This growth on Saturday was necessary; let’s see if Mubarakan can breathe better on Sunday.
