Internet is something that we just can’t live without. In some countries, the speed of mobile internet is too fast, but in some countries, it is way too slow.
Well, the Global Index Survey by Speedtest is out with its latest survey and it shows how some countries are updated with mobile and broadband internet speeds, while some of them are far behind.
In this survey, around 122 countries were analyzed for mobile internet speeds and 133 countries were analyzed for fixed broadband speeds; ranks were decided according to various factors.
Which country topped the list?
Want to know which country topped the list in terms of mobile internet? Well, it’s Norway, which has a download speed of 52.95 Mbps. On the other hand, Singapore has topped the list in terms of Broadband speed; its download speed is 154.38 Mbps.
India’s position in terms of mobile internet speed!
India’s position is very disappointing. In the list of mobile internet speed, India stands at the 112th position, with a download speed of just 8.18 Mbps speed, couldn’t it be better? China is leading India by a huge margin. It’s on the 15th place and has a mobile internet download speed of 34.52 Mbps. On the other hand, Pakistan is also ahead of India with a rank of 98 speed of 10.76 Mbps.
India’s position in terms of fixed broadband speed!
In this list, the position of India is improved; it stands at the 74th rank and has a speed of 16.26 Mbps. China once again leads India here; its rank is 22 and has a speed of 53.29 Mbps. Here, Pakistan is behind India; it stands at the 124th position and has a broadband speed of just 5.57 Mbps.
