When the news of Saaho broke out, there were many reports about the lead actress who would star opposite Prabhas. There were speculations that Anushka Shetty would be seen opposite him but it seems, the makers’ choice was someone else. After a long long wait, it was finally announced that Shraddha Kapoor is chosen as the lead actress opposite Prabhas.
Even Pooja Hegde and Katrina Kaif were being considered for this role, but at last, Shraddha Kapoor managed to bag the same. Makers might have chosen her due to the immense fan following that she enjoys in B-Town.
Earlier too, Shraddha was approached for this role but she denied it because she found the payment less. Yes, there were reports that she demanded 12 crores from the makers because Saaho would be shot in 3 languages i.e. Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Usually, Shraddha’s fees per movie is Rs 4 crores, but she asked for such a huge amount from Saaho considering the 3 languages. However, makers didn’t agree to pay her 12 crores, which is why things hadn’t worked out that time.
Now that Shraddha has been roped in for “Saaho”, fans are curious to know the amount she will be getting. Once again, there are rumors that Shraddha has accepted a pay-cut and has agreed to take an amount of Rs 9 crores. Well, it’s way much higher than her actual fees (Rs 4 crores).
After Shraddha, everyone was curious to know how much Prabhas is being paid. If reports are to be believed, Prabhas would be getting a whopping sum of Rs 30 crores, can you believe it?
Prabhas’ fees is 3 times more than that of Shraddha! It reflects how popular Prabhas is among the audience. Saaho is made on a budget of Rs 150 crores and it’s surely going to be grand.
