The world is definitely changing a lot but for worse and gradually, it’s becoming an unsuitable place to live and we really don’t need to cite any example to prove it. On a regular basis, we come across heinous crimes against women and children which tremble our souls and compel us to think whether humanity has utterly lost its existence in this self-centered and inhuman world. Well, what recently happened to a 9-yr girl at least suggests so!
As per cops, a girl of 9 had allegedly been raped repetitively by a boy of 13 whom police afterward detained from his house. The incident is of south Delhi and the boy was taken into custody on Thursday after the girl’s parents lodged an FIR against him.
It was on Wednesday afternoon that the boy’s offense became public after the victim started experiencing pain in abdomen and told parents about the neighbor boy who had been raping her for many days.
Here’s what an official stated,
“The juvenile stays with his parents in a rented apartment in Govind Puri and studies in class 7 in a government school. He was caught from his residence soon after the victim’s parents filed a complaint against him.”
When the matter was investigated, it was revealed that he used to go to her house, giving the excuse of playing with the girl when her parents left for work. After seeking proper opportunity, he raped her multiple times.
According to the officer,
“She has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital and her statement will be recorded on Friday.”
IANS is told this by the victim’s father (identity not revealed),
“I work in a hotel and my wife works in a factory. We both go for work leaving our two daughters and a son under the observation of their ailing grandfather who cannot walk properly. The grandfather used to take rest on a cot outside the house. The boy entered our house on the pretext of playing and raped her whenever he found her alone.”
Cops further stated that the accused is sent to a juvenile home.
