Since last few months, Kapil Sharma’s show has been hitting the headlines for not-so-good reasons. The TRPs of TKSS had fallen drastically and then, many shoots had been cancelled owing to ill health of Kapil Sharma.
Many superstars who came to the sets had to go back since the shoots were suddenly being cancelled. Finally, Kapil Sharma has decided to take a break from this and the show is temporarily off-air.
But is his health the “Main” reason why the show had to be taken off-air? Well, the media reports had something else to say. Fresh reports have surfaced, which say that a person close to Kapil’s heart is majorly responsible for ruining the show.
Any guesses who he is? He’s none other than Rajiv Dhingra, his close friend and also the director of Firangi, Kapil’s upcoming movie.
What Rajiv Dhingra did?
Many might not know this, but after Sunil Grover and other comedians called it quits, TKSS appointed Rajiv as the creative director of the show.
However, Dhingra couldn’t manage the team at all, which is why, it affected the overall quality of the show including the scripts and creativity. Media has even reported that due to this mismanagement, they failed to get the scripts on time. Due to all these hassles, the show had to be taken down.
SpotboyE reports,
“Before the announcement of the end of the show, Sony TV had a meeting at JW Mariott with the new and old team members, including writers, in an attempt to save the show from being pulled. The channel was told that the members were ready to return if Dhingra was let go.”
But things didn’t work out because Kapil didn’t want Dhingra to leave. It is said that other members were too pissed off with the director.
