After having 3 back to back victories against Australia in 5 match series, India finally lost a chance of whitewash by losing the 4th match.
The Aussies performed excellently and set a big target of 335 for Team India. Men In Blue tried to chase down the score but seems like it was a bad day for them and none of them could survive long on the pitch.
As an answer to 334/5 of Australia, Team India scored 313/8 and lost the match. However, it was not the only thing that shocked the fans that day.
India’s new Big shot machine Hardik Pandya scored an aggressive six during the match which directly hit a cricket enthusiast on his face and hurt him badly.
The fan named Tosit was sitting in a prime spot at P1 stand at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium. The shot caused him an injury on the face and he had to get the stitches.
Reports suggest that the guy was immediately taken to the medical centre where he got the first aid and then was shifted to a hospital where he got the stitches.
Ajit Benedict Royan, vice-president, HOSMAT Hospital said-
“He got a cut just below his lower lip, lower teeth and his tongue.”
Well, this seems to be a disturbing incident. Hope the guy gets well soon.
