Yes, it couldn’t surpass Raees, Bahubali & Tubelight in terms of first day collections. Hence, it has become the 4th highest grosser of this year.
2. Varun Dhawan got his highest opener!
Earlier, this record was with his movie ABCD 2, which got an opening day collection of 14.03 crores. Judwaa 2 has broken it to become Varun Dhawan’s highest opener.
3. Beat SRK & Akshay Kumar’s movies too.
Judwaa 2 has crossed the 1st day collections of Jab Harry Met Sejal (15 crores) & Toilet Ek Prem Katha (13.10 crores). It’s not easy to beat biggies, but Varun has done it.
4.Beat Tubelight in terms of occupancy!
As we reported yesterday, Judwaa 2 has beaten Tubelight in terms of occupancy. While Tubelight had 40 percent occupancy on the opening day, Judwaa 2 enjoyed 60 percent.
