It’s Diwali time for Indians and the Canadian PM Justin Trudeau took the opportunity to offer his best wishes to all the Indians across the globe.
He chose the micro-blogging site for this and tweeted, “Diwali Mubarak! We’re celebrating in Ottawa tonight. #HappyDiwali”

Here’s his tweet:

The Canadian PM was seen lighting a lamp in Ottawa in the tweet which was appreciated by some people who in return thanked the PM.
However, Justin got brutally trolled for one mistake that he made while giving his best wishes. He wrote ‘Diwali Mubarak’ and it didn’t go well with some of the Indians since they consider Mubarak as an Arabic word and not Hindi. There were many who demanded Justin to rectify the error and use “Shubh Deepawali” instead.
Here are some of the selected tweets:

Justin was dressed in Indian attire and was looking handsome as usual in black sherwani. He is not an Indian but likes to celebrate our festivals with the same enthusiasm and zeal as we do, so guys just chill and enjoy Diwali!
