On Monday, the school director of Mayor World School was thrashed up by a mother. The mother allegedly barged into the office of school director Jyoti Nagrani and closed the door from inside, and started abusing her abruptly and even started beating her very badly.
The reason behind such a brutal behavior is the fact that the daughter of Taranjit Kaur Hundal, was restricted from bringing mobile phone to the school and in anger her mother manhandled the school director. Taranjit Kaur Hundal, is the wife of advocate KS Hundal. After the incident, the school authority has decided to file a case against Taranjit Kaur under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC.
However,the police has already lodged an FIR against Taranjit Kaur under sections 451 (house trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 452 (house trespass after preparation to hurt, assault or wrongful restraint). The police registered the complaint under section 452 after the pressure from the school management and teachers and viewing the evidence footage that showed Taranjit Kaur strangulating the school director, Jyoti Nagrani.
Anil Chopra, president of the association and chairman, St Soldier Group of Institutions, said they would call for school bandh soon if an FIR under section 307 (attempt to murder) was not registered against Taranjit Kaur.
