When it comes to fielding in cricket, there are very few cricketers who make it big. One such name is Jonty Rhodes; this South African cricketer is famous for his historic runout.
Also, he took some of the best catches in the history of cricket; when we talk of Jonty Rhodes, who can forget the famous 1992 superman run-out?
In early 2008, he was roped in as the Fielding coach of Mumbai and did his best to train young cricketers. Even Robin Singh, Shaun Pollock, Ricky Ponting and Anil Kumble have been their coaches in the post.
After training Mumbai Indians for 9 years, Jonty set apart. However, he is very active on social media and keeps answering questions of Twitter users from time to time.
One Twitter user asked him, “Who’s good at fielding, you or Robin Singh?”. Here’s the tweet;

To this, Jonty Rhodes gave a diplomatic and an intelligent reply. He reminded him of 1992 run-out which had wooed the hearts of one and all. He not only named Robin Singh, but also praised himself for that memorable run-out.

Well, Jonty might not be accurate in throwing the ball, but the way he dived and threw himself between the stumps was just awesome.
