Janhvi Kapoor is all set for her dream debut in upcoming Karan Johar’s Sairat remake titled Dhadak. The film stars Ishaan Khatter opposite her and is among the anticipated films this year.
The film is releasing on 20th July and special screenings are being held for close and industry friends in Mumbai.
There was a special screening of Dhadak yesterday night and Kapoor family attended it. However, Janhvi Kapoor’s loving brother Arjun Kapoor couldn’t attend it just like he had to miss the trailer launch.
Janhvi Kapoor had talked about it earlier only and had said that Arjun Kapoor won’t be able to attend the screening of Dhadak because he is busy with his film’s shooting. Janhvi had said this during an interview with DNA-
“Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi are not in town right now. She is coming back earlier, on July 14 because I told her she has to be there for the first cast and crew screening. “
She further added-
“Arjun bhaiyya has some work, so he will be missing it. He’s coming back on July 18, so he will watch the movie after he returns to the city.”
She also talked about how she’s so excited to show Dhadak to her family-
“I’m so happy that the entire clan came for the trailer launch. I’m blessed to have a family like this who’s always been supportive.”
Well, we are looking forward to what Arjun Kapoor has to say about the film when he finally watches it.
