“Thugs of Hindostan” is one of the most awaited movies of the year as it is bringing the two great stars of Bollywood together – Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. The movie made under the banner of Yash Raj Films is also being termed as the biggest Hindi movie produced ever.
We have always seen that the promotional strategies of Aamir Khan’s movies are quite different from the other actors’ films. He tries to use new methods for the promotional purpose rather than going on talk shows or in television serials. This time also, the promotional strategy of Thugs of Hindostan seems to very different as the makers have collaborated with Google Maps for it.
From Thursday, whenever the Android and iOS users navigate to their destination with the help of Google Apps, they are accompanied by Aamir Khan’s character Firangi from the movie “Thugs of Hindostan” who is seen sitting on his pet donkey.
Dialogues like 1-2-3 quick march have also been added and it gives a feel to the commuter that he is travelling with Firangi. Well, that is some ride, isn’t it?
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also praised this the flick’s promotional strategy. He posted a pic of Aamir Khan sitting on his donkey and wrote,
