Selfie obsession has taken a new toll on the world. And, everyday a new kind of selfie technique is being introduced to make you look picture perfect. But this obsession has now become a tad bit risky as many lives have been claimed and people have somewhat become insensitive towards it.
This obsession has now added Anna Ursu, just 18 year to its list of claiming lives. Reportedly, Anna Ursu tried to take an ultimate selfie with her friend on top of a train in the north-eastern Romanian city. While attempting to take that perfect selfie she accidentally touched her leg in a live wire above, sending an electrical surge of up to 27,000 volts through her body.
The friend of Ms. Ursu was also blown away because of the current of the train right after the accident with her friend. The local passerby who was a witness to the ignition of Ursu body tried to save the girl but all his attempt went in vain as by the time he could save her half her body was already burnt. This same person said that he had earlier warned the girls to stay away from the electrical wire, but they in attempt to take the ultimate selfie did not listen to the advice and could not possibly think of such a danger.
Anna Ursu when arrived at the hospital she was completely burnt said a spokesperson for Bucharest Burns Hospital. And the other girl accompanying her is recovering from the damage at St Maria hospital.
