Kerala Tourism Posts Picture Of Aviyal On Twitter, Gets Brutally Trolled In Return

For Indians, food is nothing short of something sacred. For them, their regional food items are not to be tampered with. In fact, they’re pretty darn possessive about them.

So when Kerala Tourism posted a picture of a common South Indian dish, Aviyal, everybody had something to say. Aviyal is a popular household dish in Kerala, which is made using vegetables and coconut paste, combined with curry leaves and coconut oil.

Now that’s a sticky aviyal situation!
Coincidentally, the native expression for ‘messing up’ bears the same name as this wonderful dish.

But keep your palate ready for tomorrow as we are not done here. Sweet dreams.

So, how do you like your Aviyal?
