A neighbor in Kolkata took advantage of a 15- year old girl after calling her in his house to give a surprise birthday treat. The 21- year old Amir allegedly called the teenage girl to his house for a midnight party to celebrate her birthday, where he served her drug laced food and later went on to sexually assault her.
The parents of the girl allowed her to visit his place as they know his family and have been neighbor to them for years. The young men gave the girl Biryani and cold drink as a birthday treat which was laced with drugs, after eating the food girl became unconscious and the boy allegedly made sexual relation with her. The police lodged a FIR based on a complaint lodged by minor’s father at Tiljala police station in Kolkata.
The girl said to the police that when she reached Amir’s house his parents were not there at home, to which Amir said that they might come soon. Amir who is a call centre employee have been missing ever since the police complaint was registered against him. However, the girl has been examined but the reports are still awaiting.
A case under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code has been started against Amir who has allegedly raped the girl.
