Quite often, we have seen people insulting the poor and bargaining from a poor vegetable seller or fruit vendor for few rupees. Moreover, they not only do this but also put allegations of selling on double price or more than the required amount. However, at that time, have they ever realized or actually got to know the cost these sellers give for it? Besides, it’s their business and naturally they will include the cost of their hard work and effort they put into making things available to us.
On the contrary, we never ask to lessen the price of coca-cola or bargain in purchasing Lays or any other branded item? Why so? Because they have MRP written on it? But how do we know that it’s the cost these companies deserve for the specified amount of product? We happily buy these packed stuff from shopkeepers without even once asking to reduce the cost. Why such a difference?
