Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte starrer “Sacred Games” has been loved by the audiences and every fan is expecting that the second part of the series will be better than the first one.
“Sacred Games 2” is going to be released by Netflix on the Indian Independence Day, i.e., August 15, and it is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Massan famed Neeraj Ghaywan. The showrunner for the “Sacred Games 2” is Vikramaditya Motwane and the total duration of the show is 400 minutes which is equivalent to two and a half movies.
The shooting has taken place in 112 locations such as Mumbai, Cape Town, Nairobi, Delhi, etc. in 110 days and the total cast of the show is around 3,500. However, what will surprise you is the amount spent by Netflix on this web series.
The investment that has been made by Netflix for “Sacred Games 2” is almost Rs. 100 crore, the biggest amount which has been spent by any streaming service on a web show in India.
Earlier the highest amount spent on any web series was in the range of Rs. 3-4 crore on each episode and the web series was of 12 episodes.
Other than “Sacred Games”, Netflix will also produce many shows keeping in mind the Indian audiences such as a spin-off of Baahubali by the name of “Baahubali: Before the Beginning” and Emraan Hashmi starrer “Bard of Blood”.
