Online portals these days have opened up in bundles and everybody is complaining about the way they cheat. Every now and then a new case of such fraud shopping is coming up and people are left stranded without either getting their goods properly delivered or cheating on cash transaction.
And, yet again one more such case has been registered in New Delhi where in this girl named Pragati Raj bought a new Sony Smartphone worth Rs.19,999/- from Shopclues but when she received the delivery of the phone, the smartphone seem tampered. The box of the phone did not contained the User Manual and as per the online instructions that the girl went through showed that a few pictures and video are pre-installed in the phone for some security check reason. And the smartphone that she received had none of it, which clearly indicates that the phone was either tampered or was already being used by someone before.
Pragati who ordered the phone on 14th of March, 2014 received the order on 23rd of March but on seeing the defects and being unsatisfied with the quality of good received she asked for a Refund but no cooperation was shown from the Shopclues’ side.
But when the girl reported to a leading news channel, and they contacted the website. They seem to take the matter seriously now and asked for 48 hours to get the complaint solved.
Seems like the simple words were not understood by the online portal, Power is required to get your things done!
