The IPL team Mumbai Indians is the most successful team of India’s T20 league as it has won the IPL title 5 times which is the highest by any franchise, followed by MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings which has won the IPL 4 times. However, things don’t seem to be going in a good manner for MI for the past couple of seasons and it seems as if the IPL 2023 will also be a tough one for the Mumbai franchise.
Earlier, it was reported that MI’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah won’t be able to play in the IPL 2023 as he is not being able to recover from injuries for quite a long time now and as per the reports, Australian pacer Jhye Richardson who is a part of MI will also miss the tournament this year due to injury.
Jhye Richardson was a part of Australia’s ODI team which will be playing 3-match ODI series against India starting from 17 March but he has been ruled out of the ODI series and his chances of playing in the IPL 2023 are nil too.
Though the Mumbai Indians management has called Nathan Ellis for replacing Jhye Richardson in the tournament, the online users are having a great time having fun at the expense of MI as many of them feel that Rohit Sharma’s legacy of injuries has been transferred to the whole MI team.

Rohit Sharma, the MI captain, is currently leading the Indian team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 and he is getting slammed a lot by the Indian cricket fans and former Indian cricketers as India lost the third test match against Australia which was played at Holkar Stadium, Indore. India is leading the series by 2-1 but after getting defeated in the 3rd test match, its chances of playing the WTC final have reduced a little and now it has to win the fourth test match in order to keep its hopes of playing the WTC final alive.
The fourth test match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, and it will start from 9 March 2023.
