The Indian Premier League is beneficial for young Indian cricketers not just because it gives them a chance to earn good money but it also gives them an opportunity to share dressing room with the senior and international cricketers and learn a lot from them which helps them in the long run.
MS Dhoni is one of the smartest cricketers at present and many cricketers have lauded him for his deep knowledge of the game and also for helping them in improving their game. The most recent example of the same is Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane who played an explosive knock of 71 runs not out for which he faced only 29 deliveries and his innings included 6 fours & 5 sixes. He played an important role in his team’s win against Kolkata Knight Riders in the match which was played yesterday at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
When he was asked to comment on his knock during the presentation, he said that he has learnt a lot under Mahi’s captaincy when he played under him in the Indian team and it is a great learning even when he is playing under him in CSK. Ajinkya Rahane further says that if a player listens to what MS Dhoni says to him, he will surely perform well.
It’s not just the CSK players who are getting benefitted from Mahi’s knowledge as the Captain Cool is always ready to help the youngsters irrespective of the team they are representing.
A beautiful scene (video) was seen after the match which was played between CSK and Sunrisers Hyderabad which was played on 21 April at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. After the match, MS Dhoni was seen surrounded by the young cricketers of SRH and all of them were listening carefully to what MSD was saying.
