Moreover, as there is more space on four-wheelers, political people tend to write their designation along with the name of the political party with which they are associated, etc. However, pasting the sticker of their caste has become the most common trend in India in the present times as if these vehicle owners feel that their vehicle is their caste certificate and their caste has to be written on their vehicle.
Well, an interesting incident took place recently as a person showed his creativity and by adding some words to the name of the vehicle, he managed to tell everyone his post along with his caste.
A photo is going viral in which it can be seen that a man added two Hindi words (sar and ji) to the name of his Sports Utility Vehicle, Punch and modified it to “SarPunchJi”. At the same time, he also pasted a sticker of his caste “Gurjar” on his vehicle.
The viral photo was also noticed by traffic police of Greater Noida and they fined of Rs. 500 on the vehicle owner Sandeep Bhati as it is illegal to write caste on a vehicle in Uttar Pradesh.
During a meeting with officials in August, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath made it clear to the top officials that the practice of displaying caste on vehicles need to be outlawed and the administration is following the orders in a proper manner.
