The England cricket team which is the defending champions as well failed to make any impact in this ODI World Cup tournament as it could win only 3 matches out of 9 in league matches and ended the tournament at the 7th position in the points table. There is no denying the fact that the English cricket team has some big names of the cricket world including skipper Jos Buttler, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Liam Livingstone, etc. but none of these players could rise to the occasion and left English cricket fans hurt and dejected.
