Needless to say, technology is great friend of human beings if it is used properly but it is certainly a devil if not dealt with in a good manner. Some time back, a video surfaced which showed Rashmika Mandanna entering a lift in a revealing dress but that was a deepfake video in which Rashmika’s face was edited and pasted on the body of a British influencer Zara Patel.
Rashmika Mandanna got huge support in this regard from her fans, followers and colleagues as well and many celebrities including the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan demanded a legal action in this case.
After Rashmika, now a deepfake video of Bollywood actress Kajol has appeared online in which Kajol is seen getting dressed on the camera. The original video belongs to an influencer Rosie Breen who uploaded it on 5 June 2023 on TikTok as a part of the trend, Get Ready With Me (GRWM). In the edited video, Rosie’s face has been morphed in order to give an impression that it is Kajol who is getting dressed.
In Rashmika Mandanna’s case, cops are investigating the matter and they have taken a 19 years old boy from Bihar into custody. The police officials are of the opinion that he has first uploaded the video on his social media handles and then he made it viral.
