We have seen quite a few instances in which highly qualified people have left their high-earning jobs in order to pursue their dream of starting a business of selling tea, idlis, samosas, etc. and today we will tell you about a Professor who has four Master’s degree and has done Ph.D too but currently he is selling vegetables on the streets of Patiala.
The name of this person is Dr. Sandeep Singh, he was employed as a contractual professor at Punjabi University in Patiala for 11 years. The 39 years old professor has four Master’s degree in different subjects including Punjabi, Journalism and Political Science and what is more surprising is that despite selling vegetables, he is still studying and preparing for exams.
The professor had to leave his job due to unfortunate reasons such as irregular payments, salary cuts and the biggest complain that he has with the government is that even after working hard for 11 years at Punjabi University, Patiala, the government didn’t approve him.
Presently, Dr. Sandeep Singh is pursuing B.Lib and he said that he still wants to work but the circumstances are not in his favor and he also said that he will keep studying whole life.
You will be surprised to know that Singh earns more by selling vegetables than what he used to earn by working as a Professor and after working hard in the day, he returns home and studies for his upcoming examinations.
Interestingly, Dr. Sandeep Singh has a board on his vegetable cart which reads, Ph.D Sabzi Wala and though he has changed his job yet his passion for teaching remains intact and he intends to save money and open his tuition center one day.
