The Indian cricket team seems to be in a strong position in the first test match against England which is being played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. At the end of the day 3, England had scored 316/6 in their second innings and they are leading by 126 runs. Ollie Pope is in a great form as he is playing at the score of 148* runs and it won’t be wrong to say that it is his innings which has kept England still alive in this match.
Ben Duckett also made an impact with bat as he scored 47 runs at a good pace, he faced only 52 balls and his innings included 7 fours. Ben Duckett was surely looking very dangerous and it was Jasprit Bumrah who got rid of him but not before losing a chance because of DRS.
In the 17th over of England’s second innings which was bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, last delivery came in to the left-hander in a sharp manner and the ball hit the pads. The Indian team appealed for LBW but the on-field umpire disagreed and skipper Rohit Sharma chose not to take DRS after having a discussion with the wicketkeeper KS Bharat.
However, when the replay was shown on the big screen, the ball would have hit the leg-stump and Ben Duckett would have been out if DRS had been taken. In Jasprit Bumrah’s next over, Ben Duckett smashed him for two fours which further increased Bumrah’s frustration but just after the second four, Bumrah bowled an inswinger which was missed by Ben and his off-stump went flying in the air.
Jasprit Bumrah celebrated the wicket in an aggressive and animated manner as finally he sent Ben Duckett back to pavilion.

Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets and his second prey was Joe Root whom he got LBW out at the score of 2. Hopefully India will get Ollie Pope out soon and wrap up the second innings of England.
