Meet This Indian Man Who Earns RS. 4 CRORE A Day! Check Out What He Does

Nikesh Arora, a 47 year old Indian-born is the new President of SoftBank Corporation, the Japanese Telecommunications Conglomerate which paid Nikesh a huge amount of $135 million which comes to Rs.850.5 crores in Indian currency, as his salary from September 2014 to March 2015. Nikesh, the “rising star” is being paid Rs. 120 crores per month, that means he is earning Rs. 4 crores daily.

In the general meeting of shareholders held on Friday in Tokyo, Nikesh was appointed as the President and the Chief Operating Officer of the company, earlier he was the Investments Head for the firm. Previous month, he had been entitled a capable heir to Masayoshi Son, the CEO and Chairman, as the organization is looking forward to expand its base abroad.

Before joining SoftBank in September 2014, Nikesh used to work for Google as Chief Business Officer which he joined in 2004 as a Telecom Industry Analyst. In 2012, Nikesh earned $46.7 million which made him the highest paid executive of Google for the year.

Called as “Rising Star” by Mr. Masayoshi Son, Nikesh has already been paid 16.556 Billion Yen (approx. $135 million) out of which 14.6 Billion Yen is being paid as joining bonus and remuneration for the work done by him as an executive for the SoftBank subsidiary. This was reported by a Japanese Daily, Asahi Shimbun on Saturday on the basis of SoftBank’s financial reports.

It further stated that is very unusual for a Japanese firm to pay an amount of more than 16 Billion Yen annually to an executive, in fact there are very less number of business executives in Japan who receive billions of yen as compensation.

Nikesh has already fixed deals of 200 billion yen ($1.67 billion) for SoftBank in a time period of less than one year; the deals have been fixed with Snapdeal – an ecommerce firm as well as Ola cabs, as reported Nikkei Business Daily.

Nikesh has completed his Electrical engineering from IIT-BHU and he has done Masters in Finance from Boston College along with MBA from Northeastern Universitynik.
