A new captain is likely to be named ahead of Pakistan’s upcoming tour of Australia, which includes three T20Is and three ODIs. According to the reports, the white-ball head coach Gary Kirsten has already discussed this matter with the PCB officials in July and Mohammad Rizwan is being considered to be a strong candidate to succeed Babar as the skipper for white-ball cricket and most probably he will take over the captaincy in all the three formats.
