A strategic captain who guided India to three ICC trophies, MS Dhoni’s legacy is one of grit, grace and endless inspiration and recently he was bestowed with the honour of getting inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

MS Dhoni is the 11th Indian cricketer who got inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame and below is the list of all the Indian legends who have been honoured just like MS Dhoni, each with a brief on their illustrious contributions:

3. Kapil Dev (2010)

7. Vinoo Mankad (2021)

A formidable left-arm spinner, Neetu David holds the record for the best bowling (8/53) in a women’s Test and claimed 141 ODI wickets. Inducted in 2024, she became the second Indian woman to join this elite list.

11. MS Dhoni (2025)

On June 9, 2025, Dhoni was inducted as the 11th Indian, honored at a ceremony in London’s Abbey Road Studios. Praised as “the most deserving,” he earned three ICC titles as captain (T20WC ’07, ODICW ’11, CT ’13), redefined elite wicketkeeping with lightning stumpings, and infused a fearless finishing mentality into Indian cricket.
