She recalled being aware of his growing closeness with Priya and admitted that she had never supported it. According to her, Sunjay and Karisma had been trying to make their marriage work, especially after the birth of their son Kiaan, and she felt that another person’s entry into their lives disrupted that fragile balance. She expressed that interfering with a young family was unfair and that Karisma did not deserve such heartbreak.
Mandira revealed that their father was strongly opposed to Sunjay’s relationship with Priya Sachdev.
