Hardik Pandya has once again become the center of attention but this time it’s not for his cricketing exploits. The Indian all-rounder recently confirmed that he is in a relationship with model and actor Mahieka Sharma. On Friday, Hardik took to Instagram and shared a picture with Mahieka from a beach outing where the two looked happy and at ease, enjoying a quiet moment together. By tagging Mahieka’s Instagram account, Hardik made their relationship official, instantly sparking conversations across social media.
So, who is Mahieka Sharma, the woman who has stolen Hardik’s heart?
Mahieka Sharma holds a degree in Economics and Finance but her true passion led her to a career in modelling and acting. Over the years, she has appeared in music videos, independent films and major ad campaigns for well-known brands including Tanishq, Vivo and Uniqlo. Mahieka Sharma has also graced the ramp for India’s top fashion designers such as Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre and Tarun Tahiliani. Her growing presence in the fashion industry was recognised in 2024 when she received the “Model of the Year (New Age)” award at the Indian Fashion Awards.
Known for her professionalism and dedication, Mahieka Sharma has faced several challenges in her career but has always handled them with grace and determination. In 2024, she developed a severe eye infection just before an important fashion show. Despite the pain and discomfort, she decided not to withdraw and confidently walked the ramp, impressing both the audience and her peers.
In another instance, during a runway show rehearsal, her heel broke midway through her walk. Instead of stopping, Mahieka Sharma completed the walk effortlessly, earning widespread admiration for her poise and confidence. Speaking about the experience in an interview, she mentioned how the appreciation she received afterward made her feel valued and motivated to keep going.
Hardik Pandya, who was previously married to model and actress Natasa Stankovic, confirmed his separation from her in July 2024. The couple, who had tied the knot in May 2020 and renewed their vows in February 2023 through both Hindu and Christian ceremonies, announced their decision to part ways through a joint statement. They described it as a mutual and difficult choice made after four years together, emphasising the love and respect they shared during their time as a family.
The statement further mentioned that their son Agastya would remain at the center of both their lives and that they would continue to co-parent him with love and care. They also requested privacy and understanding from the public as they moved through this sensitive period.
With Hardik now confirming his relationship with Mahieka Sharma, fans are not only intrigued by the cricketer’s new chapter but also impressed by Mahieka’s inspiring journey from academia to the fashion world, a blend of strength, ambition and grace that perfectly complements her growing fame.
