In a country where mental health still carries a stigma, the urgent need for emotional well-being has never been clearer. According to the latest statistics from the National Mental Health Survey (NMHS), about 10.6% of Indian adults — roughly one in every ten — live with a diagnosable mental health disorder. Many experts estimate that nearly 15% of adults require active intervention to manage stress, anxiety, depression or related issues.
For Deek Parassini, a transformational guide supporting mental well-being, this work is not a profession — it is a calling. Through truth-based sessions and compassionate guidance, he helps people reconnect with themselves, release silently carried burdens, and rediscover inner clarity. In an exclusive conversation, Deek shares how this journey began and why truth-based guidance resonates with so many today.
“I never set out to be a motivational speaker. I simply answered people’s questions with the truth they need to know, in the simplest way possible. When people found value in that clarity, I realised it could actually help thousands. Today, mental well-being is not just about feeling ‘happy’ — it influences our emotional, social, cognitive and physical health. It shapes how we navigate life’s challenges, relationships, and opportunities,” says Deek.
Over the past few years, Deek has quietly built a movement rooted in one powerful belief: “Life Is All Positive – Negativity Doesn’t Exist.” Through over 300 Q&A-driven sessions marked by deep honesty and interactivity, he has reached more than 63,000 people across India and abroad. What sets him apart is not just his message, but his decision to offer every session at no cost, driven solely by the intention to serve.
Talking about his early days, Deek says, “My sessions are not built around rehearsed speeches or inspirational clichés. Instead, I invite people to ask real, raw questions — about fear, relationships, exams, stress, or even purpose. When someone opens up, the whole room connects to that truth. That’s where transformation begins,” he adds. Students often describe his sessions as “eye-opening,” “relieving,” and “freeing.”
When asked why he keeps sessions free, he responds without hesitation: “I see everyone as family. How can I charge my own family for guidance?” This approach has created a rare space in the self-help world — a platform where transformation isn’t a product, but a shared human experience.
Deek explains that younger generations are no longer drawn to traditional motivation. With rising mental health concerns, social media pressure, and the constant need to prove oneself, people crave something deeper. “Motivation fades. Truth stays,” he says. “If someone understands who they really are, they don’t need an external push. They naturally grow.”
This philosophy is evident in his Q&A-driven style. Whether speaking to students anxious about careers or working professionals drowning in stress, he simplifies life’s complexity into actionable understanding
Deek’s work extends far beyond speaking. Over the years, he has led hundreds of community initiatives, including free mental health conversations, food distribution drives, and tree-planting activities. These efforts are rooted in the belief that service brings people closer to themselves.
He explains that transformation does not happen through words alone. “It happens when people learn to bring balance to the five aspects of a positive life — relationships, education, health, finance, and love,” he says.
With a rapidly expanding digital presence, Deek aims to make truth-based transformation accessible to people of all age groups who are seeking clarity and guidance.
When asked about the future, Deek smiles and says, “I don’t think too far ahead. I show up every day and do my part. If one person walks out lighter, clearer, or happier — that’s enough.”
In a world crowded with noise, Deek Parassini stands out for his simplicity and sincerity. He doesn’t promise an overnight change. He offers something far more powerful—a reminder that clarity already exists within us, and sometimes all we need is a nudge to rediscover it.
As Deek often says, “Meet me once. Clear all your doubts. Then forget me. Once you learn to self-positivize, you don’t need me — or anyone else — because your life becomes your greatest teacher.
