The clash between the men’s teams was already locked in. India and Pakistan are scheduled to meet in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on February 15, a fixture that traditionally draws massive global attention. Now, the excitement has doubled with confirmation that the two sides will also meet in the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars on the very same day.

The tournament will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from February 13 to 22 and will feature eight teams split into two groups. The competition is designed to spotlight emerging women’s talent from across Asia.

The event will include ‘A’ teams from four full-member nations with ODI status, alongside four leading associate teams. India A have been placed in Group A with Pakistan A, UAE and Nepal. Their campaign begins against UAE on February 13, followed by the much-anticipated clash against Pakistan A on February 15 and a final group match against Nepal on February 17. Group B consists of Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Malaysia and host nation Thailand.
