Directed by Laxman Utekar, it is based on the life of Vithabai Narayangaonkar, a famous folk artist from Maharashtra known for Tamasha and Lavani. Shraddha Kapoor is in the lead role, along with Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda and Anant Joshi. Nana’s exact role is not known yet but his presence has made fans more excited for the film.
2. Shakti Shalini:

This is a horror-comedy directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and made by Maddock Films. The story is about Shakti, a normal woman who becomes the protector of Shalini, a revengeful spirit. It stars Aneet Padda and Vishal Jethwa and as per reports, Nana plays an occultist. It is said that he had finished shooting his part and wanted to see the final film before dubbing. This could be one of his last big releases.
3. The Confession of Mary:

This is a crime drama directed by National Award winner Ananth Narayan Mahadevan. It is based on the 1966 m*rd*r case of Mariyakkutty, a Catholic woman from Kerala. In that case, a priest was accused of m*rd*r, given a d*ath sentence and later acquitted. Nana Patekar plays Father Benedict, the priest. The film which was earlier shown at the Toronto International Film Festival also stars Adil Hussain, Ashish Vidyarthi, Gautam Rode and Joy Sengupta.
4. Kuku Ki Kundali:
Starring Bhuvan Bam and Wamiqa Gabbi with Nana Patekar, this is a romantic comedy directed by Sharan Sharma. Kuku Ki Kundali is about a love story that faces problems because of a horoscope. It is a light and fun film, very different from Nana Patekar’s serious roles. Not much is known about his character or release date yet.

5. Vedanta:
This film is directed by Rajeshwar Pandey Raaj and also stars Vikrant Massey, Sandeepa Dhar and Mukesh Tiwari. This is the least known film from his upcoming list and the story or his role has not been shared yet but it is still one of the films where audiences can see him again.
