This shameful accident took place while the victim was returning home from her work. She works in a a Gurgaon based finance company. The women said in her complaint that she went for dinner in Gurgaon with her friends after her long shift. After that she was dropped at Vasant Vihar by her friends. From there she boarded that cab at 9:30 pm.
The woman, in her complaint, said, “While on my way home, I fell asleep on the back seat of the cab. A few minutes later, I realised that the car was stopped at a secluded place and the driver was molesting me. She further added , “I tried to unlock the cab door but failed. The driver threatened to kill me and raped me.”
Police said that the driver later dropped her near home and once again threaten to kill her if she informed the police about all this.
But the woman phoned the police at 10:30 and informed them about all this. She also went to Sarai Rohilla police station on Saturday and filed a complaint and also provided a photo containing the car’s number – “DL 1YD 7910.”
