As reported by National News Channel, a couple was pulled out of guest house by mob, accused for indulging in immoral practices, the couple was trashed and beaten for close to an hour.
This incidence took place in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. A couple was caught in a compromising position in the room of a guest house. The guest house is being situated near a religious place. The locals have repeatedly suspected that the guest houses permit such activities, and hence at first instance of catching someone red handed, the mob went violent.
Surprisingly, even though there is a police station just 300 meters away from where the incidence happened, there was no action taken against the people who have beaten the couple, no complaint has been filed nor there has been any arrest. In the name of moral policing, the couple was beaten continuously. Moreover, one of the person was even interesting in recording the entire incidence on his mobile phone.

Wonder, how can anyone just take laws in his or her own hands just in the name of “Moral Policing”? Is this the right approach? Don’t you think the people should be punished for being violent with couple? If the couple was doing wrong, why didn’t anyone just take them to the police station? For one hour, why no policemen intervened and took charge over the incidence?
